New centre of the Provincial Specialist Hospital in Biała Podlaska is to shorten the queues and respond to the growing number of cases of digestive system disorders. The Polish facility uses the experience of Japanese doctors - one of the best in the field of endoscopy.
- The project has started over 3 years ago. Work on that project was initiated by the Trade and Investment Promotion Section of the Polish Embassy in Tokyo. We are happy to continue it and try to bring it to the end. In addition to the construction of the facility, the investment provides the Centre with the latest endoscopic equipment and the use of technologically advanced solutions made in Japan - explains Eliza Klonowska-Siwak, chief of the PAIH office in Tokyo. As the head of PAIH's representation in Japan adds, the detailed plan for the construction of the centre is ready. It was created in collaboration with Japanese doctors from the International University Hospital Of St.Lukas in Tokyo, who are eager to share their experiences.
The construction of the Centre is to begin in September. As announced, partners from Japan are willing to visit the new facility twice a year. The investment will most probably be financed from European funds.
During the mission coordinated by ZBH Tokyo, representatives of hospitals in Biała Podlaska and Tokyo declared their willingness to continue the cooperation.
