Despite the difference about the position of Poland and Argentina regarding the agreement between Organization of the Common Market of the South „ Mercosur ”and the European Union, both countries are intensively trying to mark their presence on world markets and deepen mutual economic relations. Argentina is a country with a population similar to Poland, but almost eight times larger. Polish – Argentine trade turnover is still relatively low. Turnover in 2017 amounted to almost USD 670 million with an excess of USD 405 million in favor of Argentina. Despite this Argentina is constantly trying to balance income from commercial activities and, above all, to expand and diversify the flow of goods and services. Currently, 80% of trade is soy.
Plans for the coming weeks are also launching another PAIH representative office in Latin America, this time in Bogota.
