PAIH supported two Polish debuts in Myanmar

Two Polish companies, one from the food and one from the railway industry, have entered the Myanmar market. Behind their success stands, among others, the Foreign Trade Office of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) in Kuala Lumpur.

The Warsaw company Foodcom sold 120 tons of skimmed milk powder (so-called SMP)  to  one of the largest food companies in this country.
Our goal is to promote Polish dairy products around the world. We believe that  Poland as a producer has products  of the  highest quality. We are very pleased with the support we received from  the PAIH office in Kuala Lumpur. We have  also established relations with the Agency’s offices in Greece, Chile and Vietnam. They are helping  us in our search for customers - says Marcin Stradowski, Senior Commodity Trader Foodcom. Przemysław Zaręba from PAIH points out that the 54 million population of Myanmar reports a  huge demand for dairy products, especially for children.

The PAIH’s Malaysian office also helped the railway company, Asco Rail. The Polish company deals with, among other things, the production, delivery and service of control and measuring instruments and induction and mechanical devices.

As an exporter, taking up the challenge of entering new markets, we are very pleased with the help and cooperation we received from PAIH. We have worked together for less than a year, but the effects are already very positive. So far, we were been supported by PAIH offices in Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam. We intend to continue our cooperation in Southeast Asia, where we want to develop, increase sales and build brand recognition - said Jan Busko, Chief Strategy Officer for Asia and Australia Markets, ASCO RAIL Sp. Zoo.
