MRIT, PAIH and UAE IIC meeting

The meeting was hosted by Grzegorz Piechowiak, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Regional Development, Government Plenipotentiary for Foreign Investments. On the Emirates side, Jamal Sajf Al Jarwan, Secretary General of the Council, participated in the meeting. Others present were representatives of Ministries and Institutions: the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Abu Dhabi, the Embassy of the UAE in Warsaw, MI, BGK and PAIH’s Foreign Trade Office in Dubai. During the meeting, the Polish Investment and Trade Agency presented the potential of investment cooperation, as well as incentive and support programs for foreign investments in Poland. Leading investment projects in the sectors of energy, ecology, logistics and satellite technology were also discussed.

The Emirate side confirmed its interest in participating in the Polish-African Economic Forum organized by PAIH in Dubai to be held on March 28 this year. Polish representatives informed about their planned participation in the annual investors meeting in Dubai on March 29-31, 2022. The parties also declared the signing of a cooperation agreement between PAIH and UAE IIC and the organization of a meeting of a joint commission for economic cooperation. The meeting is to be combined with the arrival in Poland of entrepreneurs representing the largest Emirati companies. Thanks to this visit, direct contacts between Polish companies planning to implement large investment projects and Emirati entrepreneurs will be established.
