The event was inaugurated by PAIH's Chairman Krzysztof Drynda. He stressed that Polish entrepreneurs are ready for the internationalization of their businesses, and if they take advantage of the current situation, it will accelerate the foreign expansion of Polish companies.
We are facing a reshuffling of international relations, including economic relations. The dominant trend that is the result of recent years is deglobalization. Such a new opening is an opportunity to significantly increase the importance of Polish business - our common task is to take one hundred percent use of this opportunity - said Krzysztof Drynda.

The event is a good way of responding to the expectations of exporters and investors looking for information about individual markets and industries and also for those who want to get acquainted with the instruments and tools to support foreign expansion offered by the administration - said the Minister of Development and Technology Waldemar Buda when opening the event. He added that the Ministry is in the process of launching two large digital solutions. - On the modernized portal trade.gov.pl there will be a complete set of information available, about important events, initiatives and foreign markets. EXPORT INTELLIGENCE, on the other hand, is a system in which can be found, among other things, data on trade flows and economic data. Reports will be available as part of the services of export support institutions, but selected - at the beginning there will be about 150, which we will soon place on trade.gov.pl, where everyone will have access to them. Depending on the level of interest, we will expand the database with further reports - informed the head of the Ministry of Development and Technology.
Deputy Minister Grzegorz Piechowiak added:
The PAIH Business Forum is the largest event of this type in Poland. This is an event for companies active on foreign markets, but also for those that are on the verge of starting their foreign expansion and those who are just thinking about it. Export is an opportunity for Poland's economy, it is a chance for dynamic, but also stable development of businesses.
As part of the event, a number of discussion panels were held. Invited guests using the example of Expo 2020 Dubai discussed opportunities to promote the country, regions and industry at world exhibitions. A separate presentation was devoted to the assumptions for Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai.
We can safely say that the plan to promote Poland at the Expo in Dubai has been implemented one hundred percent. We have promoted not only Polish culture and science, but also Polish business and we are already seeing the first results. Our entrepreneurs are already signing contracts that are the fruit of our presence at Expo. We were the only country to organized two huge events as part of the world exhibition, the Polish-African Forum and the Polish-Arab Forum. Thanks to these, we are now observing a growing interest in Poland as a direction of economic relations, but also tourism - emphasized Grzegorz Słomkowski, Member of PAIH's Management Board.During the event, an agreement was signed between PAIH and KGHM Polska Miedź, the aim of which is to create conditions for the development of the domestic economy and strengthen Poland’s position as one of the largest exporters in the world.
