During the meeting with PAIH and representatives from the Korea Overseas Infrastructure & Urban Development Corporation, a written agreement on the development of cooperation was concluded. The talks focused on the possibilities of economic cooperation in significant development projects, opportunities for Polish export and assistance to Ukraine, as part of the post-war reconstruction of the country. The meeting was opened by PAIH’s board member Zdzisław Sokal, who presented Poland’s current economic situation, its economic development and opportunities for trade and investment between our countries. Łukasz Grabowski, Director of PAIH’s Export Department, presented the main areas of the Agency's activities and its offer for foreign partners. Tetiana Chuzha from PAIH’s Foreign Trade Office in Kiev presented the agency's initiatives as part of the Ukrainian reconstruction program and the scale of involvement of Polish companies in this process. The Ministry of Development and Technology was represented at the meeting by Bartłomiej Lewandowski, Head of Department in the Department of Trade and International Cooperation.
Won Hyee Ryong, Minister of Civil Economy, Infrastructure and Transport MOLIT, who participated in the event, emphasized the great interest of Korean companies in Poland and the possibilities for cooperation. The Chairman of KIND Agency, Kang Hoon Lee, in his speech appreciated the size of the Polish-Korean investment projects implemented so far. The guests also welcomed the current volume of economic exchange between both countries. The Korean delegation was also attended by His Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Poland Hoon Min Lee, Deputy Minister Kim Heung Jin from MOLIT and Sun-ho Park from the International Contractors Association of Korea.
