The city's deputy Mayor, Li Guangding, who was present at the meeting, praised Poland’s economic stability. He emphasized the importance of the significant human resources in our country. During the talks, both parties expressed their satisfaction with the annual presence of Polish entrepreneurs at the China-CEEC Expo, one of the largest consumer events in this city. This year's fair was attended by 11 Polish companies that held numerous B2B meetings with Chinese partners.
Ningbo is one of the key regions in China in terms of the volume of economic exchange with Poland. This industrial center is located on the east coast of China in the Zhejiang province. More than half of the goods exported from Ningbo to the countries of Central and Eastern Europe go to Poland. The city is located near the financial capital of the country, Shanghai and has one of the largest seaports in the world - Ningbo-Zhoushan. The value of economic cooperation with Poland, which passes through the port of Ningbo-Zhoushan is estimated at 2.5 billion dollars.
Both sides expressed their willingness to further strengthen relations and develop economic cooperation.
