The guests were welcomed by PAIH’s Board Member Grzegorz Oszast, who encouraged companies to contact the Agency, which actively supports the building of business relations between Poland and Ukraine. He stressed that PAIH treats the Kiev office as a priority. It is open to assist both Polish companies wishing to increase their presence in Ukraine, as well as Ukrainian companies looking for Polish business partners.
We encourage companies from both Poland and Ukraine to turn to the Kiev Office as a point that will provide comprehensive assistance in business contacts. The team operating in Kiev will be strengthened to meet the huge interest in establishing economic relations that we are currently observing - said Grzegorz Oszast.
Minister Jadwiga Emilewicz spoke about good economic cooperation between Poland and Ukraine, thanks to which, it is possible to remove further obstacles in cooperation within a few days. At the same time, she encouraged companies to make the PAIH office in Kiev a point to which they would turn to when they want to operate in Ukraine.
Minister Dworczyk stressed that today's meeting in the reopened PAIH headquarters is possible thanks to the heroic defence of Ukraine. He also added that Poland recognizes the efforts of the Ukrainian authorities to modernize their economy and the ongoing reconstruction of their infrastructure.
The Ministry of Reconstruction of Ukraine was represented by Deputy Ministers Oleksandra Azarchina and Mustafa Nayyem. The Ukrainian authorities want it to operate efficiently and for Ukrainian and Polish business to cooperate effectively. Deputy Minister Nayyem spoke about openness to the presence of Polish business in Ukraine and the need to further improve cooperation.
Ministers Emilewicz and Dworczyk, together with Grzegorz Oszast, also took part in a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk, with whom they discussed increasing the protection of Polish investments in Ukraine. During their visit to Kiev, Jadwiga Emilewicz and Grzegorz Oszast met with Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov and Ministers Azarchina and Nayyem.
