Poland is the 5th largest manufacturer of cosmetics in the European Union. The industry is developing very dynamically, and Polish companies are more and more boldly and dynamically looking for new markets. In the era of a pandemic and war in Ukraine, non-European markets, especially Asian ones, are becoming the leading direction for this sector. Entering them, however, requires the preparation of a long-term expansion strategy, including significant expenditures on brand promotion also in social media. Our task is to help companies in this. That is why we decided to organise a trade mission to Southeast Asia.
Polish cosmetic companies on a mission to Asia
Participation in international fairs, training and meetings with potential contractors - were waiting for Polish cosmetic companies, which the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) took on a trade mission to three countries of Southeast Asia: Vietnam, Singapore and the Philippines.
PAIH organized the Polish-Thai Business Forum
Thailand is ASEAN's second largest economy, and due to its strategic location and supply chains, it is the gateway to the entire region. This year we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Poland and Thailand. On this occasion, the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) organized the Polish-Thai Business Forum in Bangkok.
The 18th edition of SIB is behind us
The largest construction fair in Maghreb - SIB ended on November 27th of this year. On an area of over 3 hectares of the exhibition park in El Jadida (Morocco), over 400 exhibitors from dozens of countries gathered.
The first Polish-French Economic Forum will be held in December
On December 9, French and Polish representatives from the world of politics and business will gather in Kraków. Representatives of both countries will meet as part of the first Polish-French Economic Forum organized by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency together with the Ministry of Development and Technology and the Mouvement des enterprises de France (MEDEF).
The next step in the development of a sustainable supply chain for battery manufacturers
A Turkish company from the chemical sector enters the Polish market. Ege Kimya will establish a plant in the Industrial Park of Modern Technologies in Stargard to produce nickel and cobalt salts, which are key raw materials for the production of batteries for electric vehicles (EVs).
Polish entrepreneurs at the Meat and Grill Days fair in Athens
As many as 16 Polish producers from the meat industry co-created the stand of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) at this year's Meat and Grill Days fair in Athens. The event took place between November 12-14, 2022.
Joint promotion of the agri-food sector thanks to the agreement between KOWR and PAIH
At the headquarters of the National Centre for Agricultural Support (KOWR), a cooperation agreement was signed between them and the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH). It will enable both institutions to jointly promote the Polish agri-food sector on foreign markets.
Business consultations with Ambassadors of Sub-Saharan African countries at the PGE Narodowy
The Polish Investment and Trade Agency, together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, hosted representatives of sub-Saharan African countries as part of business consultations organized at PGE Narodowy.
Support from PAIH’s experts in carrying out a location analysis process (choosing the right location for the investment) and in choosing the optimal investment path.
Entrepreneurs who are looking for attractive locations can use the Investment Offers Generator, which has a constantly updated list of greenfield (undeveloped investment land) and brownfield (warehouse and production facilities) real estate in Poland.
Our support consists of:
- identifying potential locations for investments;
- consulting in the site selection process;
- preparation of information on, among other things, the readiness of real estate for investment, selected statistical data, information on the local labour market and sectoral specialization, secondary and higher education in the area, infrastructure, availability and profile of suppliers;
- support in finding and establishing relations with project stakeholders;
- organisation of comprehensive location visits with the participation of commercial partners (including suppliers of media) and representatives of local government.

Do you know that...
PAIH’s activities are supported by a nationwide regional Investor Assistance Centres (IAC)?
The IAC function mainly within the Marshals' offices and the Agencies for Regional Development. Their staff operate according to standards specified by PAIH. Each of the units has as their territory for operations, the Voivodship’s area, in which they are based and keep an up to date, data base on the Voivodship’s economy. The centres also have a data base of contacts with the local authorities and business support institutions, that operate in order to develop the Voivodship.
The main goal for the IAC operation is to ensure a complete service for investors at a Voivodship level. The centres cooperate with PAIH on investment projects and provide an independent service to the investors who approach them directly.
