Investment Offer Generator as a new plot management tool
Managing information on the available offer of the investment sites will be much easier. The Investment Offer Generator is just making its debut - the PAIH online browser for Polish investment grounds.
The generator allows you to add, edit, view and compare investment offers. Its mechanism is based on the work of three modules: a text search engine, presentation of investment offers and a geolocation presentation. The base of the investment offers are four types of sites: greenfield (undeveloped plots), brownfield (built-up plots), tourist areas and office space. The logged-in user of Generator is getting the access to many analytical tools that facilitate supervision and offer management.
As a part of the management of the investment offers, each Polish commune will receive its subpage, where in the map module the user can present the commune’s plot offer.
The Generator has been launched as a pilot project in Warmińsko - Mazurskie province.

Poland the top UE destination in FDI
335 foreign direct investment projects were launched by investors in 2017 in Poland - fDI Markets reports. Due to the investors’ activity in the previous year, 86.743 new jobs have been created in the country, that makes Poland the leading UE state in this category.
Volkswagen to expand factory in Poland
One of PAIH major clients, Volkswagen Poznań, is to reinvest in Antoninek (Wielkopolskie voivodship). The company will expand production hall and build a welding. According to the car maker, the CAPEX is to total EUR 200m in case of this investment and EUR 450m in years 2018-2019.

Poland among most attractive destinations for Chinese FDI
According to the latest Knight Frank Group report, Poland advanced into the top 20 of most attractive market for the Chinese investment. It is, among others, caused by intensified bilateral trade relations due to Łódź-Chengdu cargo rail link, the research reads. While Singapore, Qatar and the UAE lead the rank, Estonia is the only European country that overtakes Poland (7th place).
Knight Frank has developed the Belt and Road Index (BARI) that is classified into six categories: economic potential, demographic advantage, infrastructure development, institutional effectiveness, market accessibility and resilience to natural disasters. The values within each category have been normalised to ensure the resulting figures are comparable and contextualised for the purpose of this study. All categories are assigned with specific weightings in accordance with their potential significance to investment decisions. The index results provide not only a holistic macro view of each country, but also a level of detail on each of the key criteria, that can help inform investment strategies along the Belt and Road.
