Established in 1997, the Legnica Special Economic Zone occupies part of the Lower Silesia Province in south-western Poland, it is one of the most dynamically developing regions in Poland. Locating investments in this Voivodeship is chosen for its
convenient location near the German and Czech borders, it’s dense network of
constantly developing roads and railways, which ensure connections with neighbouring
regions - both Polish and European, the high growth rate of the region,
qualified workforce, as well as the availability of attractive investment
areas. The zone covers an area of 1,361,3405 ha, located in the following
cities: Chojnów, Głogów, Legnica, Lubin, Zgorzelec and Złotoryja and the
communes of: Chojnów, Gromadka, Iłowa, Kostomłoty, Legnickie Pole, Miękinia,
Miłkowice, Polkowice, Prochowice, Przemków, Radwanice and Środa Śląska.

Advantages and successes of the Legnica SEZ:- 18 subzones in the immediate vicinity of the most important communication routes in this part of Europe,
- a convenient location in the vicinity of the important communication routes: the A4, A8, A18 motorways and expressways S3, S5 and S8, proximity to airports: the international airport in Wrocław, but also the airports in Berlin, Prague and Poznań,
- a location within 500 km from six European capitals: Prague, Berlin, Bratislava, Vienna, Budapest and Warsaw,
- convenient connection with the Szczecin-Świnoujście port complex,
- the international railway line E30 crosses the Zone,
- access to qualified staff,
- well-developed system of vocational education,
- infrastructure available in the Zone: land prepared for investment, roads, media,
- in addition to the basic assistance offered to companies, LSSE organizes meetings, workshops, training, and the HR Forum. In addition, each entrepreneur has a dedicated supervisor - a person who can help and advise. All this so that companies can develop their business in a friendly environment and with the certainty of obtaining support.
